I am sharing a pAbmAbs generated literature review of KO validated antibodies. Here citing Riad et al. Molecules 2020. Rias et al. evaluated this antibody for the detection of endogenous human PARP by Western blotting (WB) and immunofluorescence (IF) using OVCAR8 WT and PARP1 KO OVCAR8 cells. No staining was detected in PARP1 KO OVCAR8 cells (Figure 2A). In WB (1:1000 ab dilution), 9532 detected faint smears in PARP1 KO lanes (Supplementary figure 3C). Based on the available data, we have assigned a five-star rating for IF and a four-star rating for WB, but we highly encourage other scientists to share their observations.
