Review of: Syntenin-1, Novus Biologicals, NBP3-26333 by pAbmAbs Data Mining

Reviewed: October 19, 2026

Our team has carried out deep research in the published scientific literature to identify papers and reports using antibodies directed against human Syntenin-1 and followed up by extraction and evaluation of the available data to assess its performance according to pAbmAbs rating criteria.

YCharOS is here conducting a large head-to-head study comparing 12 commercial research antibodies against human Syntenin-1 encoded by SDCBP.

The collection of antibodies was tested using HAP1 WT and SDCBP KD cells in the applications WB (WT and KO cell lysates/30 µg protein), IP (WT cell lysate and culture medium) and IF (WT and KO cells) according to YCharOS standard protocols (see reference).

In WB (1:500 ab dilution) on cell lysate, NBP3-26333 detected a band of appr. 31 kDa in WT with a faint band observed in the KD lane. A band was detected following IP (2 µg Ab used) on cell lysate, this band was markedly more intense compared to band in input extract (6% of starting material) and no band was detected in immunodepleted extract (6% of total unbound fraction), showing that the antibody does completely deplete the antigen from cell lysate. IP on culture medium produced the same result. In IF (1:100 ab dilution), a more intense staining intensity was observed in most WT cells, with KD cells showing background.
