Our team has carried out deep research in the published scientific literature to identify papers and reports using antibodies directed against human Syntenin-1 and followed up by extraction and evaluation of the available data to assess its performance according to pAbmAbs rating criteria.

YCharOS is here conducting a large head-to-head study comparing 12 commercial research antibodies against human Syntenin-1 encoded by SDCBP.

The collection of antibodies was tested using HAP1 WT and SDCBP KD cells in the applications WB (WT and KO cell lysates/30 µg protein), IP (WT cell lysate and culture medium) and IF (WT and KO cells) according to YCharOS standard protocols (see reference).

In WB (1:500 ab dilution) on cell lysate, ARP44537_P050 detected multiple bands (>5), none of which were specific to WT cell lysate. No band was detected following IP (2 µg Ab used). IP on culture medium produced the same result. In IF (1:500 ab dilution), comparable staining intensity was observed in WT and KD cells.
