Rab14, Proteintech, 15662-1-AP

Our team has carried out deep research in the published scientific literature to identify papers and reports using antibodies directed against human Ras-related protein Rab-14 and followed up by extraction and evaluation of the available data to assess its performance according to pAbmAbs rating criteria.

YCharOS is here conducting a large head-to-head study comparing 5 commercial research antibodies against human Ras-related protein Rab-14 encoded by RAB14.

The collection of antibodies was tested using DMS 53 WT and DMS KD (siRNA technology was employed to knockdown target gene) cells in the applications WB (WT and KD cell lysates/35 µg protein) and IP (WT cell lysate) according to YCharOS standard protocols (see reference).

In WB (1:1000 ab dilution) 15662-1-AP detected a band of appr. 24 kDa in control cells with no corresponding band observed in KD cell lysate. No band was detected following IP (2 µg Ab used).
