Serine/threonine protein kinase PINK 1, Thermo Fisher Scientific, PA5-13402

Our team has carried out deep research in the published scientific literature to identify papers and reports using antibodies directed against human Serine/threonine-protein kinase PINK1 and followed up by extraction and evaluation of the available data to assess its performance according to pAbmAbs rating criteria.

YCharOS is here conducting a large head-to-head study comparing 13 commercial research antibodies against human Serine/threonine-protein kinase PINK1 encoded by PINK1.

The collection of antibodies was tested using HAP1 WT and PINK1 KO cells in the application WB (WT and KO cell lysates/30 µg protein) according to YCharOS standard protocols (see reference). Cells were treated with 10 µM of CCCP (Carbonyl cyanide 3- chlorophenylhydrazone) from MilliporeSigma (cat. number C2759) for 24h.

In WB (1:1000 ab dilution) PA5-13402 detected two very strong bands at appr. 60 kDa and 45 kDa in both genotypes, neither of which corresponds to expected band size.
