Serine/threonine protein kinase PINK 1, Proteintech, 23274-1-AP

Our team has carried out deep research in the published scientific literature to identify papers and reports using antibodies directed against human Serine/threonine-protein kinase PINK1 and followed up by extraction and evaluation of the available data to assess its performance according to pAbmAbs rating criteria.

YCharOS is here conducting a large head-to-head study comparing 13 commercial research antibodies against human Serine/threonine-protein kinase PINK1 encoded by PINK1.

The collection of antibodies was tested using HAP1 WT and PINK1 KO cells in the application WB (WT and KO cell lysates/30 µg protein) according to YCharOS standard protocols (see reference). Cells were treated with 10 µM of CCCP (Carbonyl cyanide 3- chlorophenylhydrazone) from MilliporeSigma (cat. number C2759) for 24h.

In WB (1:1000 ab dilution) 23274-1-AP detected a faint band of appr. 63 kDa in WT cell lysate and in KO cell lysate (CCCP negative), however CCCP positive KO cell lysate did not show band at 63 kDa. Bands of higher molecular weight was observed in both genotypes.
