NLRP3, Bio-Techne, NBP2-12446

Our team has carried out deep research in the published scientific literature to identify papers and reports using antibodies directed against human NLRP3 and followed up by extraction and evaluation of the available data to assess its performance according to pAbmAbs rating criteria.

YCharOS is here conducting a large head-to-head study comparing 14 commercial research antibodies against human NLRP3.

The collection of antibodies was tested using THP-1 WT and NLRP3 KO cells in the applications WB (WT and KO cell lysates/20 µg protein), WB on culture medium (WT and KO culture medium/20 µg protein) and IP (WT cell lysate) according to YCharOS standard protocols (see reference).

In WB (1:250 ab dilution) on cell lysate NBP2-12446 detected multiple strong bands. A band of appr. 100 kDa was detected in WT cell lysate not observed in KO cell lysate. In WB (1:250 ab dilution) on culture medium a very strong band of appr. 60 kDa was observed in both genotypes. Only a faint band was detected following IP (2 µg Ab used).
