Our team has carried out deep research in the published scientific literature to identify papers and reports using antibodies directed against human Interferon-induced helicase C domain-containing protein 1 and followed up by extraction and evaluation of the available data to assess its performance according to pAbmAbs rating criteria.

YCharOS is here conducting a large head-to-head study comparing 9 commercial research antibodies against human Interferon-induced helicase C domain-containing protein 1 encoded by IFIH1.

The collection of antibodies was tested using DMS53 ctrl and IFIH1 KD cells in the applications WB (WT and KO cell lysates/20 µg protein), IP (WT cell lysate) and IF (WT and KO cells) according to YCharOS standard protocols (see reference). siRNA technology was performed to knockdown (KD) the target gene.

In WB (1:1000 Ab dilution) 5321 detected a faint band of appr. 120 kDa in ctrl cell lysate with no corresponding band in KD cell lysate. Only a very faint band was detected following IP (2 µg Ab used). In IF (1:150 Ab dilution), comparable staining intensities was observed in Ctrl and KD cells.
