hnRNP A2/B1, Proteintech, 67445-1-Ig

Our team has carried out deep research in the published scientific literature to identify papers and reports using antibodies directed against human Heterogeneous nuclear ribonucleoprotein A2/B1 (hnRNP A2/B1) and followed up by extraction and evaluation of the available data to assess its performance according to pAbmAbs rating criteria.

YCharOS is here conducting a large head-to-head study comparing 8 commercial research antibodies against human HNRNPA2B1.

The collection of antibodies was tested using HAP1 WT and HNRNPA2B1 KO cells in the applications WB (WT and KO cell lysates/30 µg protein), IP (WT cell lysate) and IF (WT and KO cells) according to YCharOS standard protocols (see reference).

n WB (1:1000 antibody dilution), 67445-1-Ig detected two bands at ~37 kDa in WT cell lysate, one of which was also detected in KO cell lysate. Immunoprecipitation using 2 µg antibody did not yield a detectable band for the protein of interest; only the antibody heavy chain was detected. In IF (1:800 ab dilution) a clear intense staining was observed in WT cells with little background staining in KO cells.
