hnRNP A2/B1, Genetex, GTX127928

Our team has carried out deep research in the published scientific literature to identify papers and reports using antibodies directed against human Heterogeneous nuclear ribonucleoprotein A2/B1 (hnRNP A2/B1) and followed up by extraction and evaluation of the available data to assess its performance according to pAbmAbs rating criteria.

YCharOS is here conducting a large head-to-head study comparing 8 commercial research antibodies against human HNRNPA2B1.

The collection of antibodies was tested using HAP1 WT and HNRNPA2B1 KO cells in the applications WB (WT and KO cell lysates/30 µg protein), IP (WT cell lysate) and IF (WT and KO cells) according to YCharOS standard protocols (see reference).

In WB (1:1000 ab dilution) GTX127928 detected a double band of appr. 37 kDa in WT cell lysate not observed in KO cell lysate. In both genotypes several (>5) bands of both higher and lower molecular weight were observed. Immunoprecipitation using 2 µg antibody did yield faint band and an intense band for the antibody heavy chain. In IF (1:1000 Ab dilution) WT cells showed stronger intensity in fluorescence compared to KO cells showing some background.
