hnRNP A2/B1, Bio-Techne, NBP2-80777

Our team has carried out deep research in the published scientific literature to identify papers and reports using antibodies directed against human Heterogeneous nuclear ribonucleoprotein A2/B1 (hnRNP A2/B1) and followed up by extraction and evaluation of the available data to assess its performance according to pAbmAbs rating criteria.

YCharOS is here conducting a large head-to-head study comparing 8 commercial research antibodies against human HNRNPA2B1.

The collection of antibodies was tested using HAP1 WT and HNRNPA2B1 KO cells in the applications WB (WT and KO cell lysates/30 µg protein), IP (WT cell lysate) and IF (WT and KO cells) according to YCharOS standard protocols (see reference).

In WB (1:1000 ab dilution) NBP2-80777 detected two bands at ~37 kDa in WT cell lysate, with one band more intense than the other, while no corresponding bands were observed in KO cell lysate. A faint band of lower molecular weight was observed in both genotypes. Immunoprecipitation using 2 µg antibody did not yield a detectable band for the protein of interest; only the antibody heavy chain was detected. In IF (1:1000 Ab dilution) WT cells showed a stronger intensity compared to KO cells.
