Our team has carried out deep research in the published scientific literature to identify papers and reports using antibodies directed against human Casein kinase I isoform alpha and followed up by extraction and evaluation of the available data to assess its performance according to pAbmAbs rating criteria.

YCharOS is here conducting a large head-to-head study comparing 10 commercial research antibodies against human Casein kinase I isoform alpha encoded by CSNK1A1.

The collection of antibodies was tested using HCT 116 WT and CSNK1A1 KD cells in the applications WB (WT and KD cell lysates/50 µg protein), IP (WT cell lysate) and IF (WT and KD cells) according to YCharOS standard protocols (see reference).

In WB (1:500 Ab dilution) ARP51843 detected several bands for both genotypes where none of them were the target protein. No band was detected following IP (2 µg Ab used). In IF (1:250 Ab dilution) comparable staining was observed with some WT cells showing no signal and some KD cells showing signal.
