Review of: Charged multivesicular body protein 2b, ABclonal, A13410 by pAbmAbs Data Mining
Our team has carried out deep research in the published scientific literature to identify papers and reports using antibodies directed against human Charged multivesicular body protein 2B and followed up by extraction and evaluation of the available data to assess its performance according to pAbmAbs rating criteria.
YCharOS is here conducting a large head-to-head study comparing 8 commercial research antibodies against human Charged multivesicular body protein 2B, encoded by the CHMP2B gene.
The collection of antibodies was tested using U2OS WT and CHMP2B KO cells in the applications WB (WT and KO cell lysates/50 µg protein), IP (WT cell lysate) and IF (WT and KO cells) according to YCharOS standard protocols (see reference).
In WB (1:500 Ab dilution) A13410 detected a band of appr. 24 kDa in WT lysate. Several bands of both higher and lower molecular weight were observed for WT lysate, with no corresponding bands in KO lysate. Only a very weak band was detected following IP (2 µg Ab used). In IF (1:800 Ab dilution) weak staining from both genotypes was observed.
We highly encourage other scientists to share their observations.
