CaMK-II subunit delta, Proteintech, 81014-1-RR

Our team has carried out deep research in the published scientific literature to identify papers and reports using antibodies directed against human CaMK-II subunit delta and followed up by extraction and evaluation of the available data to assess its performance according to pAbmAbs rating criteria.

YCharOS is here conducting a large head-to-head study comparing 8 commercial research antibodies against human CaMK-II subunit delta encoded by CAMK2D.

The collection of antibodies was tested using HAP1 WT and CAMK2D KO cells in the applications WB (WT and KO cell lysates/40 µg protein), IP (WT cell lysate) and IF (WT and KO cells) according to YCharOS standard protocols (see reference).

In WB (1:2500 Ab dilution) 81014-1-RR detected a band of appr. 56 kDa in WT lysate, with a corresponding band in KO lysate. Band of higher molecular weight was observed for both genotypes, with a more intense staining. No band was observed in the following IP (2 µg Ab used) for the predicted antigen, moreover a band for heavy chain was observed. In IF (1:1000 Ab dilution), no staining was observed for either KO og WT cells.
