Our team has carried out deep research in the published scientific literature to identify papers and reports using antibodies directed against human Angiotensin-converting enzyme and followed up by extraction and evaluation of the available data to assess its performance according to pAbmAbs rating criteria.

YCharOS is here conducting a large head-to-head study comparing 15 commercial research antibodies against human Angiotensin-converting enzyme encoded by ACE.

The collection of antibodies was tested using SK-N-FI WT and ACE KO cells in the applications WB (WT and KO cell lysates/40 µg protein) and IP (WT cell lysate) according to YCharOS standard protocols (see reference).

In WB (1:500 Ab dilution) 24743-1-AP detected a faint band of appr. 150 kDa in WT lysate, with a corresponding less intense stained band in KO lysate. Furthermore, a band of lower molecular weight stained very strongly for both genotypes. No band was detected following IP (2 µg Ab used).
