I am sharing a pAbmAbs generated literature review of KO validated antibodies. Here citing Bourgeois et al. PLOS Pathogens 2021
Bourgeois et al. validate this antibody for detection of endogenous human DLG1/SAP97 by Western blotting of MDCK whole cell lysates and immunofluorescence of MDCK cells. No band was observed in DLG1 KO MDCK cells (Supplementary figure 3). DLG1 knockout was also confirmed by both immunofluorescence which showed no fluorescence (Supplementary figure 3).
Based on the available data, we have assigned a five star rating for both immunoblotting and immunofluorescence, but we highly encourage other scientists to share their observations.
