I have used this antibody for precipitation (IP) of the human insulin receptor tranfected into HEK293 cells. Works very good. I coated the the beads with 1 ug/75 ul beads = 1 IP.
It also works very well in western blots for detection of the insulin receptor and the proform in both human tissue and murine tissue. Dilution 1:1000.
I have also used it for immunostaing in hippocampal neurons (1:250), and it gives a believable staining.

Used for IF on primary myocytes and murine cell lines 1:200. Gives nice punctate staining (but lack of negative controls is a problem).
