We have used this GFRa1 antibody for IHC on PFA-fixed cryosections of mouse brain treated with antigen retrieval kit.
In the hippocampus, we see a similar subcellular distribution as in cultured hippocamal neurons.
Upon preincubation of the antibody with purified GFRa1 the signal was substantially reduced.

Really great antibody in all categories.
Detects endogenous mouse GFRa1 in hippocampal neurons both by IF and WB. Great for WB and IF also of recombinant rat GFRa1 expressed in 293 cells as shown in the image above (GFRa1 is green and nuclei are blue).
Detects GFRa1 in brain homogenates as well.
Excellent for IP of rat GFRa1 expressed in 293 cells.

Diluted antibody can be frozen and reused for Western blotting several times.
