This antibody was tested on lysates from mouse primary cultured hippocampal neurons.
We tested it on neurons lysed in either TNE buffer (+ complete and phosstop) or with lysis acquired from Kinexus (full recipe can be found here http://www.kinexus.ca/ourServices/immunoblotting/details/index.html ).
While no bands were observed when using TNE buffer, a clear signal was observed when using Kinexus lysis buffer. I highly recommend usingthe buffer in the kinexus link for detection using this antibody. The antibody was used at 1:1000 as suggested by the manufacturer. I have given it 5 stars since it performed really well with kinexus lysis buffer, but I give it 1 for the performance using TNE lysis buffer.
