Endicott et al., BMC Res Notes describe the validation of twenty-three commercial antibodies raised against Collagen. The antibody did not detect muscle collagen VI by immunohistochemistry (1:100), but recognized individual α3 chains by blotting (1:500). See full description in the link to the article above.
