Gephyrin, Human mAb, clone mAb7a, Synaptic Systems 147 108.
This antibody works well on light-PFA-fixed tissue for detecting inhibitory postsynaptic densities, though some additional unspecific staining of the nucleus can be observed under certain conditions (For most mAb7a variants, in my hands).
Tested on mouse coronal brain sections (14 um) as well as primary hippocampal neurons at 2 hr RT and 4 C ON. Weaker signal at 2 hr RT, but no nuclear staining! Nuclear staining was only observed during 4 C ON incubation.
