I routinely use this antibody for western blotting (1:500), immunohistochemistry (1:500), immunoprecipitation (5 ug pr. cell lysate from a densely seeded well of a 24 wells plate) and ELISA (as capture antibody – used 1 ug/uL for coating of a maxisorp plate). It works very well for all four purposes.
NB: When performing western blotting of alpha-synuclein I will recommend a fixation of the membrane in 4% PFA for 30 min followed by boiling in PBS for 5 min before blocking in milk to optimize detection.

Excellent antibody produced in Professor Poul Henning Jensens lab, Aarhus University.
We have used it for immunohistochemistry on PFA-fixed cryosection of mouse brain. Dilution 1:1000.
And for Western blotting of mouse hippocampal homogenates. Dilution 1:1000. It also works for reprobing of old membranes.
