We were able to visualize intraepidermal nerve fibers using the antibody, but the nerve fiber density was consistently lower using this antibody compared with e.g. the one from Bio-Rad. We, therefore, stopped using this antibody. The tissue was frozen and cut to 50 micrometer thick sections. The staining was performed free floating.
