The antibody was tested in a dilution series (1:300; 1:600; 1:1200) on sections of mouse dorsal root ganglia. Antibody stock concentration: 800ug/mL.
The dorsal root ganglia had been fixed for 1.5 hrs in 4% PFA. Cryoprotected overnight in 30% sucrose and finally embeded in tissue tek. The sections were cut in 10 um sections.
The antibody was not located exclusively in the satellite glial cells as expected. There was also seen staining in neurons and Schwann cells. With the 1:1200 dilution there was the least unspecific binding, but it was not convincing.
