I have tested this antibody on lysates from cultured hippocampal neurons +/- BDNF stimulation for 10 minutes.
50 ug was used per sample. The antibody was used at a dilution of 1:1000 and left overnight in blocking buffer at 4 degrees. No band at the expected size was observed. However, several bands at other sizes were seen.

I used this antibody for western blotting on primary hippocampal neurons from P0 mice. I experimented with many different dilutions – 1:2000, 1:1000, 1:500 and 1:250, none of which were succesful. I suspect I may have received a defective batch of this antibody
