Antibody able to detect GABARAPL1-I . Non-lipidated form at around 17 kDa. However this antibody also detects the non-lipidated form of GABARAP. To bands appear close to each other, upper one is GABARAPL1-I and the lower GABARAP-I, confirmed with RNAi knockdown. The lipidated form is very hard to detect since it is likely also overlay ed by the GABARAP band, so this antibody is mostly useful to check general levels of GABARAPL1 or confirm knockdown or knockout. Just 2 stars since it does not detect lipidated form but so far best we found.
I had some problems with dots on the blot, that can be avoided my filtering and incubating 2 h at room temperature instead of 4C over night.
Use 1:1000, can be reused several times
