This antibody is widely used at my laboratory in FACS for sandwich detection, using various mouse antibodies (e.g. anti-myc, anti-FLAG, anti-StrepII), and then detecting with this GAM-PE. We use it diluted 200x in 1% FBS PBS. When detecting abundant antigens (e.g. EGFR on HeLa cells, heterogenously expressed surface receptors in HEK293 cells under CMV promoter control), we get MFI shifts around 50x.
