This antibody was used in rat brain slices from PFA perfussed animals. The immuno was done in free-floating sections with KPBS no antigen retrieval.
Tested all the way from 1:200 to 1:5000 dilution (but possible one can go further diluted).
It works excellent with clearly all relevant neuronal population stained: both neurons and fibers.
For those in look for a good substitute to the Chemicon Ab 1767 that was discontinued, this is a great antibody.
Not tested so far in mouse or primate, but likely to work as well. And the great news is that raised in Goat!
