This antibody worked well for detecting PSD95 in lysates from murine primary cortical neurons. Clear bands were detected after 1 minutes of exposure with ECl prime (Amersham).
Excellent for staining pfa fixed primary hippocampal neurons.
Neurons from p0 pups were grown for 10 days in vitro before being fixed. Following fixation, the neurons were immunostained against PSD95 (1:200). A clear and intense signal was observed with almost no background. Highly recommended!

Neurons were fixed for 20 min in 4% PFA and permeabilized using PBS + 0.1% Triton X-100. After blocking, the neurons were incubated with antibody in a 1:200 dilution in blocking buffer.
This antibody was tested simultaneously with other antibodies for PSD95 (see below) and proved to be the best.

May work in Western blotting but I am not convinced.
