This antibody was tested on 15 um thick hippocampal cryo sections from a perfusion fixed mouse. Prior to immunohistochemistry, the tissue was target retrieved using DAKO antigen retrieval s1699 according to protocol from the manufacturer.
This antibody works excellent for detecting expression of GABA(A) receptor subtype alpha 2 in the hippocampus.
This was tested at 1:250, 1:500 and 1:1000. At 1:1000 a clear signal was seen with very low background.
