I have just tested it on primary mouse hippocampal neurons. PFA fixed.
It works very nice. Beautiful surface staining of soma and neurites.

We used anti-neuropilin for Western blots on a number of human cell lines and mouse primary cultures.
We obtained the best signal in mouse primary hippocampal neurons and in rat RN22 cells. The antibody appears highly specific and only recognized 1-2 bands of the predicted molecular weight of full lenght neuropilin-1 and a truncated splice variant.
The antibody was also used for immunofluorescense on mouse hippocampal neurons and astrocytes. Staining was nice and surface localized.
Western blot concentration: 0.1 ug/ml
Immunostaining: 5 ug/ml
