Detects both mouse and human SorCS1 in Wetsern blots for samples of CHO cells stable expressing each variant of SorCS1.
On the other hand, it does not work for detecting endogenous murine SorCS1 from brains of p0 and Adult mice in Western blotting. A SorCS1 knockout brain were used as negative reference. Cells expressing SorCS1 as positive ref.

Anti-SorCS1 NBP1-86096 works for IP of human SorCS1, 1ug/IP (50ul Gammabind Sepharose-G = 1 IP). The antibody is almost as good as HPA011948 or AF3457, but may by marginally less efficient.
It also works for Western blotting for detection of human sorCS1.
The antibody is raised against aa996-1095. I can confirm it does not detect the N-terminal part, but only the c-terminal part.
