F4/80 is known as a marker for macrophages and microglia.
We used this antibody to stain primary mouse cortical glia and the signal was indeed enriched in cells also positive for Iba1 (see above) but to a much lesser extent in cells positive for GFAP.
Cells were permeabilized in PBS+0.1% TritonX100 and blocked in PBS+10% FBS.
Dilution for IF 2 ug/ml
