F4/80 is known as a marker for macrophages and microglia.
We used this antibody to stain primary mouse cortical glia and the signal was indeed present in cells also positive for Iba1 (see above). However, the staining was also present in a number of other cells not positive for Iba1.
Cells were permeabilized in PBS+0.1% TritonX100 and blocked in PBS+10% FBS.
Dilution for IF 2 ug/ml
