I used this antibody in a 1:3000 dilution on lanes with 25ug of protein and got a very specific bond around 50-55 kDa. The signal was however a little week.

This antibody works very well for detecting GABAa receptor subtype alpha 1 on tissue. I tested 3 different concentrations: 1:100 1:250 and 1:500 and 1:250 is best as it has very low background.
