  • We used this antibody for IHC staining of mouse brain tissue.
    It works well for both un-perfused (cryosections) and 4% PFA perfused (vibratome sections) tissues.

  • By applying this primary antibody to immunofluorescence labeling you might expect very good results in paraformaldehyde-fixed tissues

    Guinea pig-anti-glial fibrillary acidic protein (GFAP) from Synaptic Systems (Göttingen, Germany; 173004) – well usable combined with mouse, rabbit and goat antibodies. Importantly, the secondary antibodies directed against rabbit and guinea pig IgG should be not cross-reacting (available highly purified donkey antibodies are for instance from Jackson ImmunoResearch, West Grove, PA, USA; German supplier: Dianova, Hamburg).
