Endicott et al., BMC Res Notes describe the validation of twenty-three commercial antibodies raised against Collagen VI. When stained (1:400) against transfected cells, this antibody showed chain specificity towards α1. Out of five tested antibodies, this, and 17023-1-AP, produced the highest signal in the pericellular space when staining skeletal muscle.
