Our group’s preferred secondary antibody when staining intraepidermal nerve fibers from human skin biopsies (frozen, 50 micrometer thick sections, free floating protocol, concentration: 1:100). We use it together with Vector’s other products, the Vectastain ABC Kit (PK-6100), the Vector SG substrate kit (SK-4700) and their normal goat serum (S-1000). The result is clear and specific staining of nerve fibers (PGP 9.5+).
