This fluorophore-antibody conjugate was used in a FACS for the detection of a StrepII-tagged protein binding to a protein expressed on the surface of HEK293 cells. Only a 2x shift in the MFI was obtained, compared to other detection systems (e.g. StrepMab classic combined with a GAM-PE) which gave 20-50x shifts in the FMI. The StrepMab Classic Clone generally works very well, in my experience, but I can’t say the same for this conjugate.

FACS: used 200x diluted in PBS with 1% FBS.
