This ankyrin G (Ank-G) antibody was used as an axonal marker in rat hippocampal neurons in Farias et al. Neuron 2012 from Juan Bonifacino’s group.

Thsi antibody is used for labeling of the axon. It is very specific, but for use in rat hippocampal neurons, I have had to use it in a 1:50 dilution.
